Today Mom and Dad were out at Hovander for 4 hours!
Hovander is a great educational state park. They have a dairy exhibit that needs a little TLC...Mom is volunteering to help get things organized....Dad came along with his building skills to lend a hand.
Today they were helping to build a new stall for the Dairy Display. The local kids like to come into the Hovander Dairy Exhibit and learn all about the past to present way of dairy farming.
Point is...Mom and Dad both work, they take care of me, my two cats and D-man. If they have time to donate to a local park...you do to!
So get out and volunteer in your community.If your older, get involved with a reading program for kids, if your single help out a local food bank, if your young help build a playground. Just get out there and give back!
